Recapping Previous Week

The Inaugural Television Gala launched NTD and the SY Performing Art's new season.

 

Included Han Couture fasion show, guzheng performance and the film, the Courage to Believe.

 

At the French Food and Wine Fest, guests’ glasses were filled with a fine selection of French and American red and white wines, with samplings from some of the finest restaurants.

 

 

The XMas Shoot with Lisa's holiday theme psychedelic effervescent personality.  She delights in giving golden showers.

 

 

I'm glad that the Club's 23rd Anniversary Party has been moved the week after Thanksgiving.

Too much going on.
 

The Fetish Ball 's six performers, interactive wheel of pain, shock therapy chamber, spanking booth plus lots of local kinky lifestyle vendors.

 

What better way to close out thes inaugural Formula 1 weekend and thrilling race than the F1 after parties.  We dropped by The Four Seasons for the '20s-themed Prohibition Party, the official COTA after party, The Red Bull party and ended the night at the always entertaining My Yacht party.

 

The defining moment was when the five red lights above the grid were extinguished. The wall of noise generated by 24 Formula 1 engines revving for the start always fills you with a surge of adrenalin, but when those lights went out and the clutches were dropped, for a second there seemed to be an intense silence. The second the revs built back up and they were screaming toward the first corner I realized it wasn’t just the cars I was hearing; the roar was from the banks of cheering spectators lining the circuit as they finally saw what they wanted to see — a race.

 

And ending the weekend with the Burlesque Festival which had this diverse and exciting group of burly-q vixens took the city by storm with their dazzling mix of burlesque cabaret featuring classical and neo-burlesque and everything in-between. Known for their sparkling group numbers, the themed shows these ladies produce invite the crowd to dress the part and feel like part of the show.  Each year people rave about the theatrics these ladies bring to each of their themes- from musical to patriotic to drag to pin up glamor- and eagerly await the glitzy Anniversary/Birthday shows and their Festival every November.  They wowed their spectators everywhere they go.
